In the heart of Hawai‘i’s Central Pacific archipelago, Maui Food Bank stands as a lifeline against hunger—distributing over two million pounds of food annually to families, seniors, and children across every community on Maui County. From our flagship warehouse in Kahului to pop-up mobile markets in Upcountry and the North Shore, we source fresh produce, pantry staples, and culturally appropriate foods, ensuring no keiki goes to school hungry and no kupuna (elder) goes without a meal.
Maui Food Bank’s mission has never been more critical than in the wake of the 2023 Lahaina wildfires and ongoing economic pressures. Emergency relief trailers roll out to displaced families within hours, stocked with ready-to-eat meals, water, and essential supplies. Our Backpack Program equips schoolchildren in at-risk neighborhoods with weekend groceries, and our Senior Sit-Down Lunches bring nourishing plates—and compassionate company—to isolated elders.
